Close your eyes
and think of the most amazing dive you can do. Warm water!
70 metre vis! Large Pelagics! Sharks in a feeding frenzy!
Wall dives on the continental shelf! Turtles! Dolphins! Whales!
Now imagine white water rafting grade 4 rapids!
Change thoughts.
Imagine you are driving a 4 wheel drive through the oldest
living rainforest on earth. Driving through rivers with crocodile
warning signs. Climbing tracks so steep you would almost need
ropes if you weren’t in a 4 wheel drive. Viewing ancient
Aboriginal rock art, 24,000 years old.
Now.
Driving the Australian Outback, kangaroos hopping around
your vehicle. Cold beer around the camp fire, watching the
sun set in the distance. Sleeping in swags under the countless
stars. With the guide Discovery Channel uses when they come
to Australia. Stop dreaming. Do the Reef, Outback & Rainforest
dive Adventure.
Based in Cairns, Far North Queensland, Reef, Outback &
Rainforest Adventures is a company that prides itself as the
bench mark for adventure tourism in Australia. We believe
it is better to forge the track rather than follow the path.
We know you will not find a better product or more value for
your money.
The Reef, Outback & Rainforest dive Adventure is designed
for the diver with limited time but who wants to experience
the best possible in two weeks. Leave London Heathrow / US
Airport on Friday night, arriving in sunny Cairns on Sunday
morning. We transfer
you to your accommodation in the heart of Cairns
where you can recover from your flight and relax by the lagoon.
Great Barrier Reef Dive Tour
Itinerary
Monday morning you take the keys and drive your 4 wheel
drive up the coast road and into the jungle. Stop and cruise
the
rivers searching for the estuarine crocodile, the largest
reptile on earth. Push deeper into the jungle, driving through
rivers,
climbing the tracks, before reaching camp and enjoying the
free beer and wine around the fire. Dine on delicious food
including crocodile, barramundi and kangaroo, learn to play
the didgeridoo before falling asleep beneath the stars. »

Wake to the sounds of the birds and the smell of bacon and
eggs on the fire. 4 wheel drive through the Australian Outback,
through Aboriginal lands viewing the rock art, swimming in
waterholes and camp at the Tyrconnell Gold Mine.
Wednesday morning we explore the gold mine before 4 wheel
driving over Mount Misery. Swim in a volcanic crater and under
magnificent waterfalls. Return to Cairns exhausted but exhilarated
from your three day adventure.
Wake on Thursday with two choices. Relax and do nothing or
make the most of the adventures Cairns has to offer. Skydive
from 14,000ft or take a 150 metre parasail bungy jump. Go
reef fishing or quad bike riding, play golf on the ninth best
golf course in Australia - the choices are endless.
After a sleep in on Friday it is time to board our 100 ft
luxury dive vessel to take you to the Coral Sea. The next
five days is spent diving the Great Barrier Reef. Each dive
your senses are ambushed, picking the highlight will be the
hardest part. Shark diving, deep wall dives, dolphins, whales,
turtles and amazing coral. Warm water and great vis. A total
of 14 dives in arguably one of the best dive sites in the
world.
We tie up back in Cairns on Tuesday night wishing it would
never end. You will need Wednesday to recover and to prepare
for white water rafting on the Tully River on Thursday. Friday
is free to pick up souvenirs before departing Cairns International
Airport on Saturday afternoon. The bad news is you arrive
back at London Heathrow / US Airport early Sunday morning
giving you
time to get ready for work on Monday. The good news - you
have just had the best holiday of you life!
